What is the optimal positioning of VELUX Touch? Do I need to have the control wall-mounted? How do I wall-mount my control?
Optimal positioning of VELUX Touch
To ensure optimal conditions for the control pad, please ensure it is placed within reach on the wall (90-170 cm above the ground) and not in direct sunlight nor close to/behind curtains.
Note: If the control pad is used in direct sunlight, the display has a tendency to fade quickly. This is not causing any permanent damage to the device, but a screen refreshment (blink sequence) is required to navigate the device again. Wave your hand in front of the display sensor, and leave the control pad for 15 seconds to allow for the display to refresh.
Important:
To prevent the proximity sensor from being activated avoid placing the control pad inside a drawer, underneath a shelf, or stood vertically on the table.
