How to remove and install external cover parts from a sloped roof window

The cover parts of new generation windows, are click in cover parts. Therefore when removing these, simply push the tabs in at the side of the cover parts as shown below, which will allow the cover part to be easily removed.

To replace these, simply align the cover part and push down with a small amount of force until the cover part clips into place.

For older style of windows, manufactured before February 2014, the cover parts are secured using screws located in the same position as the click in clips.
