VELUX Support - VELUX Touch

How often do I need to replace the batteries of VELUX Touch?

The expected battery lifetime is 1 year (AAA, 1.5 V, non-rechargeable alkaline or zinc-carbon battery).
To save power, VELUX Touch automatically enters sleep mode after 15 seconds if no movement is detected by the proximity sensor in front of the device.

Note: The VELUX Touch control pad should never be placed close to moving objects, or standing up on a flat surface. This may create a situation where the proximity sensor on the VELUX Touch is constantly activating, and consequently drain the batteries quickly.
