VELUX Support - KLF 150
How do I install products on my KLF 150?
As of September 1, 2025, we have switched from the KLF 200 to the KLF 150.
This change was necessary to comply with the new EU regulations.
The key difference is:
KLF 200 → operated via WiFi or LAN (no longer meets the requirements).
KLF 150 → operated exclusively via USB (no WiFi functionality).
Important difference
Pairing and configuring products must now be done through the USB port of a laptop or PC with the available offline configuration tool.
Please following below steps to install products on KLF 150:
Step 1 – Download the "commissioning tool"
Go to: www.velux.com/klf150
Download the commissioning tool.
Open the “driver” folder.
Install one of the two available drivers (depending on which one is supported by your computer).
Step 2 – Connect the KLF 150 to the pc
- Connect the KLF 150 directly to the laptop/PC using the supplied USB cable.
NOTE: It is NOT possible to do this via a tablet, smartphone or MacBook.
Step 3 – Start the program to add products
- Run the installation program from the previously downloaded file.
Step 4 – Pair products with the KLF 150
- As soon as the laptop/PC recognizes the KLF 150, a pairing screen will appear.
Select the remote control you want to copy.
Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the products with the KLF 150.
