Operating your VELUX roof window with Apple HomeKit is considered secure, and is similar to operating your roof window using your VELUX remote control.
Note:
Remote access to HomeKit requires a designated Apple Home Hub (such as an Apple TV or HomePod) located in your home.
Be careful using HomeKit automation when you are away from home, as this could result in your home unlocking.
