It provides a broad range of services that assist members in navigating the political, business, economic and regulatory environment.

Homes For Scotland

Since 2019, VELUX has been a member of Homes for Scotland.

The voice of the home building industry in Scotland, representing some 200 companies and organisations which together deliver 95% of new homes built for sale each year and a significant proportion of affordable housing. Committed to improving the quality of living in Scotland by providing this and future generations of Scots with warm, energy-efficient, sustainable homes in places people want to live.

Home Builders Federation

VELUX is a member of the home builders federation, the representative body of the home building industry in England and Wales.

The HBF’s member firms account for some 80% of all new homes built in England and Wales in any one year, and include companies of all sizes, ranging from multi-national, household names through regionally based businesses to small local companies.

Irish Green Building Council

 VELUX is delighted to be working with the IGBC to support common goals for healthier homes and to create better living environments for people around the worlds using daylight and fresh air.

The Irish Green Building Council – IGBC, a non-profit organisation was launched in 2011 with organisations and businesses from the entire value chain of the built environment. These include universities, professional institutes, NGOs local authorities, contractors, architects, engineers, energy companies, leading national and transnational companies. All are united in one common goal to accelerate the transformation of the built environment, related industry and supply chain to one that is sustainable through leadership, research, education, and providing policy input to national and local government.
