Big extensions giveaway – win a free Resi design proposal and VELUX products.

Introduction

This giveaway is a partnership between two promoters – Resi Design Ltd. trading as 'Resi' (Company No: 10471125) and VELUX Company Ltd. (Company Number SC070286).

I. Terms related to the prize draw

Both promoters are collaborating to offer three winners (chosen at random) to win a free extensions design proposal worth up to £4,000 (first part of the prize) and VELUX products for the extension worth up to £10,000 (second part of the prize).

See below for specific terms related to each part of this prize by the two promoters.

1) Prize is given as one offer and is non-transferable nor exchangeable for cash. The prize cannot be split.

2) This promotion is open to residents of England and Wales, aged 18 or above, and is the owner of the property where the extension and VELUX products will be installed.

3) Registration is hosted by VELUX on their website – Participants can enter at https://www.velux.co.uk/campaign/extensions-giveaway.  To participate in the competition, candidates must complete and submit the online participation form at the location specified in paragraph 1.  A valid registration consists of the participant's: first name / last name / email / telephone number / type of project / project timeline.

4) The opening date for entries starts March 23rd, 2026, and the closing date for receipt of entries is April 10th, 2026.

5) The three winners of the prize will be contacted via email and give consent to be contacted by both promoters in order to arrange redemption of prize.

6) The winners will be notified no later than May 1st, 2026. The winner must claim their prize by responding to the email and confirming their full name and address within 10 working days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse, and the Promoters reserve the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the promotion rules.

7) Employees of the Promoters, their families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion cannot participate in the competition.

8) Products from Vario By VELUX, to be found on www.vario.velux.com, are excluded.

9) The prize has no cash alternative and is non-transferable.

II. Terms related to the free extension design offered by Resi:

1) As the first part of the total prize, winners will receive a professional home survey, a fully bespoke extensions design and planning drawings, technical designs for building regulations compliance and planning application submission and management.

2) The prize covers services up to a value of £4,000. If the winner chooses to proceed with services exceeding this value, they will be responsible for any additional fees. The winner is under no obligation to proceed with services beyond the £4,000 prize value.

3) The prize includes Resi’s full extension design and planning service up to and including the grant of planning permission. It does not include construction, build costs, surveys required by third parties, or local authority fees.

4) The prize covers a standard residential extension; unusually complex projects (including but not limited to listed buildings, properties in certain conservation areas, or properties requiring specialist reports) may be subject to review or may require additional fees, to be agreed with the winner.

5) Planning approval is subject to local authority decisions and cannot be guaranteed.

6) The winner must commence their extension design project with Resi within six months of notification of winning. If this does not occur, the Resi element of the prize may be withdrawn.

7) Resi is liable for the services performed by them. VELUX cannot be held liable for any damage, defects, or similar issues arising in connection with or as a result of the services provided by Resi.

III. Terms related to the free VELUX products offered by VELUX:

1) After the extensions design proposal is done, as the second part of the prize, the winners have to order the products directly from VELUX Company Ltd, either by phone or email, at latest on December 31st 2026, without being charged.

2) The prize of VELUX products is only given to the winners once they have received the first part of their prize (free design proposal from Resi as detailed above) and have decided to proceed with their project.

3) The prize covers products up to a value of £10,000. If the winner chooses products exceeding this value, they will be responsible for any additional fees. The winner is under no obligation to proceed with products beyond the £10,000 prize value.

4) The installation service of the product is not included in the prize.

5) The prize has no cash alternative and is non-transferable.

6) The winner must remain in contact with the representatives of the VELUX Group during the build project to ensure that the timeline of the build is within the terms of the competition and to be able to finalise the case study once the project has been completed. Otherwise, if the VELUX Group cannot get in contact with the winner for a period longer than 3 weeks, the winner is disqualified.

7) VELUX is liable for the delivered products in alignment with the legal requirements and the VELUX guarantee for end-users (https://contenthub.velux.com/api/public/content/2268f-335d8-4143f_downloadOriginal). Resi cannot be held liable for any damage or defects on VELUX products delivered to the winners.

IV. General Terms

1) All candidates that did not win will be notified by e-mail. There will be no further correspondence about the results. The winners will be notified no later than April 24th, 2026. The winner must claim their prize by responding to the email and confirming their full name and address within 10 working days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse, and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with the promotion rules.

2) By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to promoters for the purposes of the administration of this promotion, in particular also to be contacted by both promoters to arrange redemption of prize. The personal data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy of VELUX (www.velux.co.uk/our-company/privacy-policy) and Resi (www.resi.co.uk/privacy).

3) The promoters reserve the right to carry out all the necessary verifications concerning the identity, postal and/or electronic address of the participants. This competition is limited to one entry per person.

4) Persons who have not provided proof of their full contact details and identity, or who have provided them inaccurately or misleadingly, will be disqualified, as will persons refusing the collection, recording and use of information of a personal nature concerning them and strictly necessary for the management and purpose of the competition.

5) No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.

6) By participating in this promotion, you agree to release, discharge, and hold the promoters harmless from any and all injuries, liability, losses, and damages of any kind resulting from your participation in this promotion (save that nothing shall limit our liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

7) Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged, or delayed because of any network, computer hardware, or software failure of any kind.

8) Resi may use the winning project for marketing, case studies and editorial purposes, including photography, subject to the winner’s consent. Resi reserves the right to amend or withdraw the competition if necessary.

9) These terms and conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with British law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the British courts to settle any such dispute or issues.
