The all expenses paid, five day trip includes accommodation at the Isfjord Hotel, a former telecommunications station which has been transformed into a luxurious modern getaway. Surrounded by the breath-taking Nordic landscape, our winner will get the chance to witness the natural phenomenon of the midnight sun.
During the summer months, the sun doesn’t set north of the Arctic Circle which means it’s pure daylight for 24 hours.
The winner and their guest will also enjoy a dogsled ride as they take in the picturesque views of the Arctic Ocean and a boat trip to Barentsburg to visit the deserted town of Pyramiden.
We’ve also introduced a mobile phone category this year to give aspiring winners the opportunity to capture their precious daylight moments on the go.  The mobile phone category winner will receive a cutting edge Lytro camera, featuring impressive technology that can record the entire light field instead of the usual 2D image made by standard cameras.
