VELUX and condensation

VELUX LINING
Due to its special construction, this lining circulates the heated air from the radiator freely across the pane. Furthermore, a special VELUX window sill optimises this circulation even more. If you combine both the lining and the window sill, you prevent condensation from forming on your roof windows as best as possible.

VELUX offers you an extensive accessory programme. Some products also contribute to preventing condensation from forming on your windowpane. The following accessories are particularly suitable for this:

VELUX ROLLER SHUTTER
Roller shutters are accessories that are most apt at keeping out the cold and reducing condensation. Moreover, roller shutters protect against heat, reduce noise from hail and rain, offer almost total blackout and impede break-ins.

VELUX roller shutters can also be installed after you have had your roof window installed.

VELUX EVERFINISH WINDOWS
In kitchens and bathrooms, the atmospheric humidity can be very high. For rooms of this type, we offer you a solution with VELUX EVERFINISH windows (e.g. VELUX GGU). They are produced from laminated wood that is seamlessly covered with polyurethane. VELUX EVERFINISH windows are absolutely humidity proof and very easy to maintain. A special feature, the VELUX EVERFINISH provides, is a gutter that catches condensation water running down the window, and leads it away from the inside to the outside.
