The Flashing module describes the use and versatility of various VELUX flashings in a number of roofing materials. By use of presentation and practical experience, the module helps the participant to understand why different flashings are required and shows how to install them competently.
Practical experience includes installation of flashings, both in singular form and as combinations using a wide variety of roofing materials including concrete tiles, natural slates, plain tiles and profiled roofing material.
Information is also offered on the versatility of flashing products in roofing materials such as thatch and sedum grass roofing.
