Part of the transnational VELUX group, our local company was originally incorporated in the UK in 1954, and has Fife Joinery manufacturing as a sister company.

 

At our purpose built head office and showroom in Glenrothes we take care of all our administrative functions. Our customer service, technical, marketing, finance, human resources and information systems departments all work together in close co-operation.

 

We also have a sales office and extensive showroom in Dublin, plus a flagship sales office and training academy in Kettering.

The EU Commission acquits VELUX
 

The EU Commission has closed its investigation of the VELUX Group and found no competition law infringements.
 

During the investigation, which included dawn raids at several VELUX Group and dealer locations in the period 30 September to 2 October 2008, VELUX cooperated with the Commission in accordance with our longstanding policy of always cooperating with the competition law authorities.

The VELUX Group has for more than a decade made extensive efforts to comply with competition law. VELUX has implemented and follows a comprehensive compliance programme, developed in cooperation with acclaimed and experienced competition law experts.

"The VELUX Group supports free competition and appreciates the work performed by the competition authorities. We aim to respond openly to any approach by competition authorities. It is our firm conviction that the VELUX Group complies with applicable competition law, and we are of course very pleased with the outcome of the investigation," says VELUX Group CEO Jørgen Tang-Jensen.
